Financial Controller • 3 month contract (poss extension) This manufacturing organisation has an enviable reputation for quality and longevity within their industry. Due to some re-structuring within the group there is a need for an experienced Financial Controller to step in and keep things going whilst they re-evaluate their plans moving forward. This position reports into the CFO for the group as well as the CEO for this business unit. You will have responsibility for the day to day financial operations of the business in New Zealand as well as consolidating the accounts for their international office. You will also be heavily involved with Business Planning and reporting for the next year. As part of the Senior Management Team you will be part of the monthly strategic management meetings and will be expected to play an active role in this process from a financial perspective. This is a ‘hands on role', working with a small team of 2 direct reports. To be considered for this role you will ideally have a manufacturing background, be a strong communicator who is used to working in an ever changing environment. A New Zealand CA qualification is preferable, but if you don't have this you will have to have a very strong case for being considered. You must be technically strong and have the personality that enables you to fit within an organisation that has a variety of personalities. If you have experience of ‘Syteline' ERP system this would be of benefit. This is a challenging role in an organisation that is going through some exciting changes.
