Financial Accountant An excellent opportunity has arisen with a successful business operating across the Asia Pacific region. They are enjoying tremendous growth and as a result of this are committed to bringing an experienced and ambitious Financial Accountant on board. You will be based in the NZ Head Office on the North Shore and will be working in a small and dedicated finance team. The company enjoys a high level of staff retention and many in the Head Office have been with the company for a number of years. The philosophy of the company is committed to staff welfare and a positive working environment - that doesn't mean that the role is cruisey as the deadlines are tough and the work presents an ongoing challenge. The main duties of the role include: • Review of accounts to Trial Balance stage You will work closely with the Regional Finance Director who will be on hand to provide support and training as your career within the company develops. Some travel to Australia and the Asia Pacific region will be essential - perhaps up to four - six times a year. As well as a salary of $80000 - $85000 you will also receive free parking, Kiwisaver, discretionary bonus, a structured career path and health insurance. To be successful in the role you will have strong technical skills and the ability and ambition to progress to Financial Controller of the NZ business. First rate communication skills are a must along with experience of inter-company reconciliations and experience working ina complex business environment.
